At Brick Bay’s Harvest Feast, guests can savour wine and food right where it’s produced. So once you’ve explored the impressive Brick Bay Sculpture Trail, pull up a pew at the architecturally impressive Glass House, where the outlook is as beautiful as the food.
Using only the freshest locally sourced ingredients, your four-course lunchtime feast will showcase fabulous food, much of it grown on the farm, including the olive oils, nuts, honey and herbs, not to mention the wines from Brick Bay Winery that have been chosen to pair perfectly with what’s on your plate.

Auckland Fried Chicken Festival (SOLD OUT)

Head down to Shed 10 to discover a dozen fine-feathered food vendors all doing what they do best, and that’s serving mouth-watering meals, with a focus on fried chicken. Explore each chef’s take on chook, inspired by their heritage whether they’re from Jamaica, Asia or the Americas.
With an excellent array of beverages too - including Pals, Karma drinks and Behemoth - all you have to do is figure out what to order, then enjoy the food, the drinks, the company and to top it all off, the live music.
Each food truck will have at least one dish that costs just $10 which means more cluck for your buck.
Kaipara Kaimoana Festival

Te Hana Te Ao Marama Marae is just an hour north of Auckland, and everyone is invited to join their celebration of kaimoana.
Highlights from the menu include oysters, smoked Kaipara mullet, slow-baked flounder raw fish in coconut cream, seafood chowder, tempura fish, seafood fritters and fresh mussels done several different ways. There’ll also be traditional fried bread, hāngī vegetables, and heaps of healthy salads not to mention deserts and beverages.
To entertain you as you dine, enjoy kapa haka and waiata from top local performers.
Matakana Coast Feast Foodie Tour
When: 17, 21 & 24 July, 8:30am - 5pm

If you’ve ever dreamed of being whisked away to the Matakana Coast for a culinary tour, here’s your chance. Hosted by Elle Armon Jones of the Big Foody, guests will be transported from Central Auckland to Matakana Village, where a freshly roasted coffee from Matakana Coffee Roasters is the first stop of the day.
Then say ‘bonjour’ to Chocolatier Nico Bonnaud at Honest Chocolat, before heading to the home of food writer Lauraine Jacobs in Omaha Beach. Hear about Lauraine’s latest beautiful book and meet some of the producers featured in those pages and sample their products.
After Omaha, set a bee line for Sawmill Brewery and Smoko Room for a behind the scenes tour of the brewery, and a sharing platter lunch, served with the brew of your choice.
To complete the day the coolest way, it’s Charlies Gelato for fresh gelato and sorbetto before returning to Auckland with a pleasantly full puku and a pantry load of happy foodie memories.
Takurua -Nafanua War Goddess

Takurua -Nafanua War Goddess is an evening of fine dining, theatre and dance that merges culture and hospitality. Relish a sumptuous five-course banquet designed by head chef Wallace Mua Frost, while contemporary Pasifika dance theatre is woven between the courses.
This event follows hot on the heels of last year's Takurua Battle of the Brothers. Drawing inspiration from Māori hākari and Pacific Island feasting rituals, Takurua welcomes guests to join a celebration of thrilling dance theatre, spectacular costumes and authentic cultural stories, as well as comedy from the Samoan fale aitu tradition.
